Belgium and the Moon Agreement

Since (29/07/2004), Belgium is officially party to the Agreement governing the activities of States on the Moon and other celestial bodies, done in New York on December 18, 1979. The instrument of accession has been deposited on 29/06/2004.

The draft Belgian space legislation will be sent this very day (14/02/2005) to the Federal Parliament. Adoption is expected around mid-2005.
