Thursday 5th December 2013, 17:30 - 19:00
Seminar and drinks receptipon at the British Institute of International and Comparative Law, London

Dr Jackson Maogoto (University of Manchester School of Law), Professor Sai'd Mosteshar (London Institute of Space Policy and Law) and Mark Roberts (Programme Manager, Atkins) will be sharing their respective expertise and discussing the latest developments in the field of international space law.

Issues ranging from the fast-approaching prospect of commercial space flights, the growing number of telecommunication satellites, space races between major and emerging powers and the fact that space may provide the next theatre of conflict - all raise acute questions relating to the regulation of space and cyber security. This seminar will discuss these topical issues from both academic and practical perspectives.

The seminar will be followed by a drinks reception.
