 HI-RES JPEG (Size: 60 kb)
Displacement field of Kronebreen glacier. By correlating the ASTER images of 26 June and 6 August 2001, the velocity vector field was measured. The annotated isolines show the ice flow speed in metres per year. Towards the accumulation area measurements were not possible due to snow and firn cover.
