The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is situated in Northeast Tanzania. In this area, wildlife is protected from hunting, although natives are allowed to settle.

This case study looks at indigenous people and wild animals' living environment using Earth observation techniques.

Satellite images will be studied using the LEOWorks digital image processing software.
