Interactive Meteosat

Every morning at 09:00 UTC the current Meteosat image of Europe is shown on this project site. Students can observe the weather and upload their observations. These will immediately appear on top of the satellite image.

The more schools participate and upload their information, the more the daily Meteosat image will show the weather throughout Europe, thereby enabling a more detailed interpretation of the satellite image.

Remember that in certain parts of Europe, 09:00 UTC in the winter is 10.00 CET and 11.00 CET during the summer (CET: Central European Time).
