ESA training and technical assistance to SMEs
 
ESA’s SME Policy Office coordinates a formal training programme for industry which gives priority to SMEs. The programme generally covers a number of engineering and management processes related to space systems manufacturing.
Space Industry Skillnet : State-of-the-art Courses in Space Systems Safety
 
European space companies are offered the opportunity to access a world class training programme in space safety-related topics. A number of these courses include contributions from world-leading experts and practitioners.

The training course for Industry organized by the ESA SME Policy Office (formerly known as the SME Unit), and Skillnet - an enterprise-led support body whose mission is to enhance the skills of people in employment in Irish industry - took place from April 16th to 18th 2008 in Dublin, Ireland.
