Description
Europe has a series of Meteosat satellites that has given us a leading role in both understanding our weather and monitoring our climate over the last 30 years.

Satellite measurements enable scientists to predict the weather with increasing accuracy, crucial for emergency management, land, ocean and atmospheric monitoring and security.
