Bacterial suspension is inoculated on the Petri dish, but toothpaste can stop the bacterial growth.
Bacterial suspension is inoculated on the Petri dish. One day later, a hole is made in the middle of the agar plate and filled with commercial toothpaste.
Two days later, you can see a distinct zone around the toothpaste, where the bacterial growth is eliminated due to chemical compounds from the toothpaste diffusing into the agar medium.
