Follow ESA’s unique astronaut underground training course – CAVES.
ESA astronaut Paolo Nespoli is joined by Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen, Russian cosmonaut Aleksei Ovchinin, Japanese astronaut Satoshi Furukawa and NASA astronauts Mike Barratt and Jack Fischer on a six-day adventure.
Their mission involves mapping underground caverns, searching for life, testing technology and the ‘Catch that bug!’ educational project. It’s all about leadership, teamwork, making the right decisions and solving problems in a multicultural team.
The astronauts have arrived and their mission has begun.
