First prize

The winner of the SUCCESS student contest will receive a one-year paid internship at ESA's space research and technology centre, ESTEC, in the Netherlands. At ESTEC, you can work together with ESA specialists on your experiment in order to prepare it for flight to the International Space Station.

Second prize

For the second prize, a trip will be offered to see a launch at Europe's launch site in Kourou, French Guiana.

Third prize

ESA will pay for the winner of the third prize the participation in a conference in Europe in her/his field of study or research.

  • Participants that submit a detailed experiment proposal will get a certificate of participation.
  • Everybody who made it to the second phase, not only gets the certificate of participation, but will also be invited to ESTEC in Noordwijk, the Netherlands, for a few days visit - the expenses will be covered by ESA.
  • Those who make it to the second phase will be invited to the award ceremony at a location somewhere in Europe. Again, the expenses will be covered by ESA.
