We are active in producing and promoting engineering standards for the space environment and its effects on space systems. ECSS, the European Cooperation for Space Standards, is producing a comprehensive set of standards for space engineering in Europe. The section led the work on the development of the Space Environment standard (ECSS-E-10-04A).
