Mechanism Component Analysis

The Mechanisms Section can support the design and analysis of critical components in space mechanisms, including their lubrication and further aspects. In this context, the following software tools are used:
  • CABARET: Design and analysis of ball bearings for space applications (developed in cooperation with ESTL)
  • DOLLS: Database of liquid lubricants for space applications (developed in cooperation with ESTL)
  • Mathcad®: Multi-purpose tool for engineering calculations
