Description

Europe has developed its first navigation system EGNOS, the European Geostationary Navigation Overlay System, based on correcting data from the US GPS. This video takes a look at its applications, concentrating on agriculture. The way that EGNOS works is explained, along with its functionality as applied to high precision farming. The video also outlines how the system will bring advantages in the context of Galileo, the future extensive network of European positioning satellites and ground support.
