ESA astronaut flies Cervantes mission to ISS

Launch Cervantes
The Soyuz TMA-3 booster rocket carrying American, Russian, and Spanish cosmonauts blasts off for the international space station from the Baikonur Cosmodrome, Kazakstan, on Saturday, 18 October 2003. The American and Russian astronauts will be the station's new inhabitants, while Pedro Duque returns to Earth 10 days later with the station's current crew.
