GOCE ready for launch ![]() GOCE (Gravity Field and Steady-State Ocean Circulation Explorer) is launched from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome in northern Russia by a modified Russian Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) SS-19 launcher called Rockot.
