Convocatoria de medios: Lanzamiento del satélite GOCE, 16 de Marzo 2009   The sleek aerodynamic design of GOCE immediately sets it apart from most other satellites. This unique five metre-long satellite has none of the usual moving parts. The whole satellite is a single composite gravity-measuring device.   The 'Gravity field and steady-state Ocean Circulation Explorer' (GOCE) is due to be placed in a low altitude orbit by a Russian Rockot vehicle 16 March 2009, from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome in Northern Russia, where it is currently undergoing final checks. On 5 March, the GOCE satellite was mated to the Breeze Upper Stage. Release date: 10 marzo 2009
