CryoSat arrives safely at launch site in Russia   CryoSat arrived at the Plesetsk Cosmodrome on 1 September 2005, where it was unloaded from the Antonov into the Integration Facility hall.   CryoSat being loaded into the Antonov cargo plane at Munich airport.   Part of the 60 tonne CryoSat convoy being transported to the Antonov aircraft for loading.   CryoSat will be launched on a Rockot vehicle from Plesetsk in Russia. Rockot is based on the SS-19 intercontinental ballistic missile, with a versatile third stage added to the 2-stage missile booster. Recently commercialised, Rockot has already launched several satellites and the SS-19 has had over 150 test firings. Release date: 15 September 2005
