Les Mureaux (F): testing ATV electrical simulator

the Electrical Test Model (ETM) mock-up
In Les Mureaux, at EADS- LV's facilities, the Electrical Test Model (ETM) mock-up, which replicates the avionics and the on-board electronics of the ATV, has started its testing in December in the Functional Simulation Facility (FSF). 'It gives us feedback on the dynamic behavior of the vessel in its real future mission environment and also allows us to run missions repeatedly by introducing failures', said Marc Chevalier, head of the integration, testing and method unit of the EADS-LV group running the ATV programme.
