Phonak, an international leader in the area of hearing aid technology, launched a new product at ESA’s ESTEC site in the Netherlands. Once more, ESA was used as a launch pad – although on this occasion the mission did not take place in space, but on ground.

Just such an opportunity opened up for students of Communication or Applied Economic Sciences at the Free University of Brussels who had the chance to develop a communication campaign for the European Space Agency.

The newly established Commercial Agent Network, appointed by the European Space Agency (ESA), comprises leading experts from industry, science and the spaceflight sector and is managed by ISS Lab Ruhr GmbH (Dortmund, Germany) as co-ordinator, AGT Srl (Rome, Italy), MEDES (Toulouse, France) and EMBL EM GmbH (Heidelberg, Germany).
