Winners of ISS competition selected!
21 July 2014
We are pleased to announce that the winners of our ISS competition are primary school students from Rellinger Strasse Primary School in Hamburg, Germany, who built a fabulous Columbus module. Congratulations!
We received so many creative entries from all over the world this month that it was difficult for the judges to select the winner and the five runners-up.
Many teachers took this competition as an opportunity to introduce space to their students. In fact, some of the best artwork we received was done in the classroom!
Our first runners-up are students from the 1st Model and Experimental Elementary School of Thessaloniki (Greece). Good work!
Children aged between 2 and 8 from the 'Center for Fun Mathematics' from Sofia (Bulgaria) are our next runners-up. Congratulations, you did a great job!
The next runners-up are both from the UK. One is a class from Aston Academy, who sent us some great ISS artwork.
The other is a Year 2 class from St. Teresa's primary school, who made this excellent real-life model of the ISS!
And last but not least, Enzo (9 years old) from France sent us this beautiful ISS model.
Congratulations to all our winners, and thanks to all of you who participated! The winning artwork is now published in our Art Gallery. Go check it out!
