GMES Stage 2, 1st Co-location Meeting

4th GSE Co-location Meeting, 6 - 8 December 2005

The first colocation meeting to involve the new GMES service networks was held in ESRIN, Frascati from 6-8 December 2005.

The main focus was to understand the requirements and scope for cooperation between the new GMES Service Networks being set up in the second stage of the GMES Services Element. In addition, the interfaces between GSE consortia and the activities to be executed within the GMES “Fast Track” Services were characterised. Finally, as each consortia is required to demonstrate how they are implementing a service network that is compliant with the INSPIRE directive, a dedicated session on INSPIRE was organised.
