From the very creation of the ISU in 1987, ESA has expressed an active interest in and support towards the activities of the International Space University. These activities include the ISU Master Programs, the ISU Space Studies Program (SSP) and other educational/training activities run by ISU.

Applications open for Alpbach Summer School 2012

This year, the summer school will be held from 24 July to 2 August and will focus on the theme “Exploration of the giant planets and their systems". Applications should be submitted before 31 March, 2012.

European Space Camp


European Space Camp

ESA is sponsoring two students from ESA Member and Cooperating States to attend the European Space Camp at Andøya Rocket Range, Norway from 24 June to 2 July 2012. Applications should be submitted before 1 April.


Life in Space


The village Banyuls-sur-merLife in Space – Exobiology Summer University

'The Origins of Life and Life in Space' is an annual two-week summer course about exobiology open to students from all over Europe. The course usually takes place at the end of August/beginning of September at the Laboratoire Arago in Banyuls-sur-mer, France.
