 Conference opportunities for sponsored students

 ESA offers European students the opportunity to attend high-level space related conferences and workshops around the world.  |  | students at IAC 2007
| | Opportunities are available across a wide range of science and engineering fields. Below is a list of conferences supported for the last quarter of 2011 as well as a preliminary list of conferences supported for the first quarter of 2012.
ESA Education will provide sponsorship to a select few students to support their participation in these conferences. The selection is competitive and clear priority will be given to students whose abstracts have been accepted by the conference organisers and who have not been sponsored by ESA before. The conference themed “Global Collaboration in Sustainable Environmental and Alternative Energy Strategies” presents an opportunity to hear distinguished international and U.S. guest speakers, workshop leaders, and students present information and ideas relevant to European and U.S. engineers and scientists interested in solving their environment and energy issues.

The aim of the conference is to promote and facilitate discussion and exchange of experience and information among members of the various mechanical engineering disciplines and environmental testing community concerned with spacecraft development, assembly, integration and verification.
