"I've been trying to extract the colour information from the VMC images. Not knowing much about it I took the following approach. I drew from scratch, a Bayer pattern on a 640x480 pixel bitmap, making one pixel blue and then one pixel green, etc. I opened the RAW VMC pictures in Adobe Photoshop then created a 'new layer' then copied my Bayer picture on top. The pictures was then reduced by 50% to get rid of the pattern grid that looks even more pronounced after the second picture is placed on it. Is this a valid way of extracting the colour? I'm not sure, it's just my idea."
