Sweden takes part in global navigation ![]() The first Ranging and Integrity Monitoring Station (RIMS) was installed at the Lantmäteriet, the National Land Survey of Sweden in March 2003. The Lantmäteriet provides national infrastructure and facilitates navigation/positioning using the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS). How does a RIMS work ? ![]() The sophisticated ground segment for European Global Navigation and Overlay system (EGNOS) will consist of about 30 Ranging and Integrity Monitoring Stations (RIMSs).
