There are two aims in this project. The first aim is to develop a small, integrated low-cost terminal. This should be capable of computation of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) or differential-enhanced position information and communicating this back to the web for a variety of safety, navigation and other applications. The second aim is to demonstrate the use of this terminal in a realistic application scenario.

The demonstrations will take place in Florida in October 2004 and will focus on a variety of maritime applications (SOS, geofence, intrusion and anchor watch).

The project was initiated in January 2003 and was concluded in January 2006.
