Ariane Vol 214 Alphasat Launch Live

Follow the Arianespace Live Transmission of Ariane Vol 214 launching Alphasat and Insat 3D. 

Lift-off is planned in a window from 19h54 to 21h11 GMT from Europe’s Spaceport in  Kourou, French Guiana. (If lift-off is later than 19h54 then transmission finish time will be later than above).

Alphasat is the largest European-built telecommunication satellite, based on a Public Private Partnership between the European Space Agency and Inmarsat, the global communication operator. It is the biggest public–private space project ever made in Europe.

Transmission will start 20 minutes before lift-off, following all flight phases until Payloads separation and followed by Management statements.

Launch highlights will be posted as soon as possible after transmission on the ESA TV ftp server.
