Since last November ESA astronaut Thomas Pesquet is aboard the International Space Station.
One key part of his 6 months duration mission is about running scientific experiments for hundreds of researchers on Earth, taking advantage of this unique weightless research laboratory.
Thus the French astronaut has been conducting a wide range of experiments on the Station in particular for ESA and France’s space agency CNES.
This video from CNES, translated in English, shows the example of an experiment called Energy implemented by Thomas aboard the ISS, followed by CADMOS, the CNES Microgravity Centre in Toulouse, and a CNRS research lab in Strasbourg.
