El lanzador para Herschel y Planck, declarado listo para el lanzamiento
Herschel y Planck bajo la carena del Ariane 5
El lanzador Ariane 5 que llevará a Herschel y a Planck al espacio ha sido declarado listo para el lanzamiento tras las conclusiones de la Revisión de Aceptación para el Lanzamiento celebrada el pasado 9 de Mayo y una revisión más en detalle celebrada el pasado día 12. El lanzamiento está previsto para las 15:12 CEST el próximo día 14 de Mayo.
Esto constituye la autorización formal de Arianespace para el lanzamiento del 14 de Mayo de 2009.
