How to submit a proposal

Proposal Submission Procedure

Taking into consideration the academic community's limited administrative resources and particular needs and interests, Ariadna offers a suitable method of interaction tailored to accommodate these peculiarities, aiming to enable cost-effective, focused consultation of the academic community.

One of the first step to achieve when you apply to an Ariadna call is to register your research entity in the ESA's system and get a Bidder Code: you will find in the document hereafter some information to help you in this Bidder Code procedure.

If you intend to submit a proposal in response to a Call, please note that - as stated in the Call's covering letter - your offer and all supporting documents, clearly marked with the topic number in question (xx/xxxx), must reach:

not later than 13:00 (GMT+01:00) on the deadline date stated in the Call's covering letter, and shall be submitted either in 4 paper copies or (preferably) electronically to:

backed-up by one signed paper copy in parallel. Only the electronic copy need arrive by the deadline. However, the signed paper copy should arrive no more than 7 days later. Please note that the contracts officer is also the only contact point while the call is open, in order to ensure a fair competition. Please also put on copy when you submit your proposal.

    Use of these templates is strongly recommended, especially in the Travel and Subsistence Expenses Form part. It can also be used simply as a reference of some of the data that are expected.


  • For Call for Ideas:

    The template might present some slight variations with respect to the above generic template for the Call for Proposals, as it could be tailored accordingly to the theme proposed in the Call for Ideas. Please download the Call for Ideas to be sure to use the good one:
