The Flower Constellations are a very rich set that include incredibly fascinating geometries as well as well known ones. Due to their property of being defined by only a few parameters, integers and real numbers, they are able to represent the space of all the possible constellations in a compressed way allowing for an efficient search of the optimal configuration. The design of all the future constellations will certainly have to take into account this new possibility, but the Flower Constellation theory goes beyond this in that it actually allows to think to new missions and to inspire space engineers to find new possibe exploitations of the outer space.
