Are
you aged between 6 and 18? Are you interested in space? Tell
us what space means to you, what it brings to your everyday
life. You can write these thoughts down, but you can also
send a drawing, or photographs. What
you send in to us will be shown on this Web site from the
19-25 November

During
the Netd@ys week of 19-25 November 2001, we will be running a message-board
on this site, where you can look at the pictures and writing from
other young people all over Europe, tell us what you think
about them, and read what the experts from the European Space Agency
say about them too. You can write in any of the official languages
of our Member States (Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France,
Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden,
Switzerland, the United Kingdom or Canada).
Enter
the message boards
If
you want to learn more about what goes on in space, just visit,
with your parents or teachers if it is too complicated, the site
of the European Space Agency at http://www.esa.int
. There will be a special site for young people coming soon.
You
can also have a look at the 2-pages brochures provided in PDF format
in 4 languages. These explain ESA in a simple way. Did you know
that ESA has 15 European countries as Member States plus an associate,
Canada, and that for these countries we study and develop launchers
and satellites for the benefit of men, women and children in the
world?
This
project is part of the European Commission Netd@ys Europe 2001 projects.
