    Envisat soars into orbit
    1 mars 2002

    ESA PR 10-2002. Den etterlengtede oppskytningen av ESA´s miljøovervåkningssatellitt Envisat fant sted fra Kourou i Fransk Guiana 1. mars klokken 02.07.59 norsk tid. Envisats spektakulære oppskytning i mørket markerte også at Europas Ariane 5 bærerakett igjen er klar for oppdrag.
