This radar image shows an area of 70 Km swath width centred over the Appenines Mountains, that divides the region of Emilia-Romagna (north) from the region of Tuscuny (south). On the northern side of the mountains the largest bright area is the city of Bologna. To the left are the cities of Modena (top) and Sassuolo (bottom). On the southern side of the mountains the city of Florence (largest bright area) and most of the Arno Valley are visible.
