This digital terrain model (DTM) was constructed thanks to a single pair of stereo images obtained by Huygens’s DISR imaging instrument. The images present no vertical exaggeration.
The images cover an area in the dark plain region, where bright ridges stand out and appear to divert the surface flow in some places. This data set is the only stereoscopic data available for the dark plains upon which Huygens landed.
The colour-code is such that the difference in elevation between blue and red areas is about 250 metres.
