Engineering model of Kibo's robotic arm, the Japanese Experiment Module Remote Manipulator System (JEMRMS), at JAXA's Tsukuba Space Center. JEMRMS is a robotic manipulator system intended for supporting experiments to be conducted on Kibo's Exposed Facility (EF) or for supporting Kibo's maintenance tasks. The Japanese Kibo laboratory and the flight model of the Japanese robotic arm were attached to the ISS in June 2008.
