ESA-selected Mars500 participant Oliver Knickel prepares for bed equipped with the equipment for a nighttime EEG which will record his brain activity. This is one of the many experiments being conducted during the 105-day Mars500 study which sees a crew of six live and work in a special isolation facility at the Institute of Biomedical Problems (IBMP) in Moscow, Russia. Two of the six crewmembers have been selected by ESA.
