ESA Telecom Information Days will take place in April at ESA’s European Space Research and Technology Centre in Noordwijk, the Netherlands. This two-day event on 12 and 13 April is open to delegates and industry from participating ESA Member States.
The purpose of the Telecom Information Days is to inform industry and delegates of participating ESA Member States about the ESA Telecom activities that will take place this year as part of the long-term plan defined by the ESA Ministerial Conference in 2005.
On the first morning the Telecom Long Term Plan will be presented followed by presentations of ESA activities, most notably the Small Satellite Initiative or Small Geostationary Earth Orbit Satellites. In the afternoon, presentations will address technology developments and be split into two parallel sessions: one on space segment: platform and the other on space segment: payload including ground.
The second day is dedicated to face-to-face meetings between industry and ESA and there will be a reservation system available for this in the conference room. Registration must be made no later than 4 April 2006.
