The following topics were discussed: the current state of legal competences in the European landscape , ESA for the EU space programme – institutional cooperation and coordination, with an outlook on the FFPA negotiations, an ever more competitive European space industry – how law and regulations sustain innovation and foster competition, European exploration: how ESA and NASA team up on the way “Forward to the Moon”, sustained by law and international commitments.

ICESCO is the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation, an international non-profit organisation specialising inter alia in the fields of education, science and culture. The Global Space Science Forum (GSSF) was an event that took place on 1-3 November, 2021, focusing on different aspects of the space sector, the development of the space industry, especially in the context of different regions and space agencies. Dr. Marco Ferrazzani spoke on 2 November 2021 about the “European Space Agency experiences in international space programmes”.

Space Court Foundation - Panel on Professionalism - Rosanna Hoffmann

Rosanna Hoffmann, Executive Officer for the European Centre for Space Law, spoke at the Panel on Professionalism, featured during the Space Court Foundation's Intern Orientation video, hosted by Space Court Foundation Executive Director Nathan Johnson. This orientation features Internship Coordinator Julia Malette walking students through the Internship Handbook, Chair of the Space Court Foundation Board Chris Hearsey outlining the Foundation's research initiatives. The other speakers on the Panel on Professionalism in the Space and Legal Industries, moderated by Deputy Executive Director Mclee Kerolle, were Antonino Salmeri, Doctoral Researcher at University of Luxembourg, Therese Jones, Senior Director of Policy at Satellite Industry Association, and Ruvimbo Samanga, Space Law & Policy Analyst.
