1st Slice of GalileoSat Workplan 2001 Approved
At its meeting on 30 January 2001, ESA's Navigation Programme Board approved the release of Euro 19 million to allow initial design work to begin immediately on Galileo.
The Galileo phase B2 study, the mission consolidation studies and the support studies on the Galileo services and PPP consolidation can now begin. These activities form part of the overall workplan 2001, jointly prepared with the services of the European Commission.
