ESA Business Incubation Centre (ESA BIC) Darmstadt start-up CargoSteps Track&Trace optimizes cross-company processes and offers transparency throughout the supply chain, enabling you to work more efficiently. Meet them at ILA Future Lab ”FUEL FOR INNOVATION”.

Freight forwarders can use CargoSteps with their partners and sub-contractors to track shipments proactively no matter which systems are used by the different involved companies.

Easy integratable via API for freight forwarders` transport management systems is the connection with partners and sub-contractors around the world. It delivers proactive cross company real-time track and trace data of any shipment and a gapless documentation.

Smaller companies without a transport management systems can use the free CargoSteps web application and drivers can use the free mobile app for iOS and Android smartphones.

”You can get every status update of your shipment in real-time without making any calls or writing any messages,” explained Murat Karakaya, CMO and co-founder of CargoSteps.

”Just check your dashboard to see the status of all your active shipments. On the tracking page are listed all works completed when and where by the drivers. Also see how fast the drivers are and know exactly which route they took even after the shipment was delivered.

”You want to know to whom the shipment was handed over to? No problem, just check the notification email that you will get when a driver unloads the shipment.

”You need the POD for your client? No problem, a picture of it will be attached to the same notification email.

”You want your customer to receive this emails too? No problem, just add the email addresses of everyone you want to be informed worldwide.”

By integrating CargoSteps into a transport management system the user will receive all those information automatically into their own system.

CargoSteps is now hosted at the ESA Business Incubation Centre (BIC) Darmstadt.

ESA BIC Darmstadt is part of ESA´s Technology Transfer and Business Incubation Space Solutions Programme, which has created the world’s largest ecosystem for space related Entrepreneurship. The 18 ESA Business Incubation Centres (ESA BICs) support 160 companies per year and more than 600 new start-ups have so far been fostered.
