The Primary Ground Station in Usingen, Germany

The Primary Ground Station is the facility with communicates directly with the Meteosat Second Generation (MSG) satellites for reception and retransmission of data as well as uplinking control commands. It is located in Usingen in Germany, around 30 km north of Frankfurt, on a Deutsche Telekom site.
