Expedition 46-47 prime and backup crewmembers are seen at the State Commission meeting to approve the Soyuz launch of Expedition 46-47 to the International Space Station, on 14 December 2015, at Baikonour.

Tim will leave for the International Space Station from Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on 15 December at 11:03 GMT (12:03 CET) with NASA astronaut Tim Kopra and Russian commander Yuri Malenchenko.
