Rehearsing with a SGANT paper model

This picture was published on social media by ESA astronaut Sophie Adenot with the following caption:

Day 197 orbit 3054 — There are many ways to rehearse an EVA… some less expected than others! A model, even a handmade paper one, can help visualise the work site in a different way. I find every bit of preparation helps!
 
The next day, we discovered a funny cartoon in our daily briefing – several vignettes showing how various instructors think astronauts prepare for an EVA versus how astronauts really prepare. It gave us a good laugh, which was much appreciated during a busy period of preparation. Thanks to all the ground teams for their support!

Jour 197, orbite 3054 – Il existe de nombreuses façons de s’entrainer pour une EVA… certaines plus inattendues que d’autres ! Une maquette, même en papier et fabriquée à la main, peut aider à visualiser le site de travail sous un autre angle. On n’est jamais trop préparé !

Le lendemain, nous avons découvert un dessin humoristique dans notre briefing quotidien : plusieurs vignettes montrant comment différents instructeurs imaginent que les astronautes se préparent à une EVA, et comment ils s’y préparent réellement. On a partagé un fou rire, ce qui fait toujours du bien en pleine période de préparation intense. Merci à toutes les équipes au sol pour leur soutien !
