N° 2–2002: ESA Director General to meet the press in Paris

On Wednesday 16 January, ESA Director General Antonio Rodotà will be meeting the media at ESA Headquarters in Paris. The gathering will start at 08:30 with breakfast, followed at 09:00 by a press conference to take stock of the Agency's achievements in 2001 and to announce the activities planned for 2002.
This year will see the launch of major ESA Earth observation and science missions (ENVISAT, Meteosat Second Generation, Integral, SMART-1), further International Space Station assembly missions, and visits by European astronauts to the Station in April and October.
