Show your support for the AIM mission proposal by using the hashtag #IsupportAIM.

Following on from the previous twitter campaign where followers were asked to tweet about "What inspires you about Asteroids and the Asteroid Impact Mission (AIM)?", this new campaign focuses on our followers' support for the AIM mission proposal.

Tweet your support/question using #IsupportAIM and have a chance to win an AIM T-shirt (pictured above), signed by Queen guitarist and Asteroid Day co-founder, Dr. Brian May!

This Twitter campaign is set up together with the Asteroid Day organisation to raise awareness of asteroids and for the AIM mission proposal in particular.

Asteroid Day is an annual global movement to increase public awareness of potential asteroid impacts with Earth, and the importance of guarding against them. It was co-founded in 2015 by Brian May, astrophysicist and lead guitarist for the rock band Queen, Apollo astronaut Rusty Schweickart, and German filmmaker Grig Richters.

The Day is held on 30 June each year to mark Earth’s largest asteroid impact in recorded history, the Siberia Tunguska event.
