- Watch the replay! On 30 June, ESA and ESO streamed a 2-hour live Asteroid Day webcast from ESO Supernova, Garching, Germany.
- The first of its kind, a 48-hour, global Asteroid Day webcast was streamed from Luxembourg between the 29-31 June.
| 30 June 13:00 CEST | On 30 June, ESA and the European Southern Observatory (ESO) joined forces to produce a packed webcast for Asteroid Day 2018. Including interviews with asteroid experts, the future of space-rock research and the truth about the dinosaurs, this fun-filled webcast was streamed live from the new ESO Supernova Planetarium and Visitor Centre in Munich. |
| 29 June 12:00 CEST | The world's first 48-hour webcast all about asteroids began on 29 June 2018 at 12:00 CEST with rock-star physicist Brian Cox kicking-off the event which brings together asteroid experts from ESA and many other agencies and institutions, astronauts including ESA's Matthias Maurer, policymakers and celebrities.
