The Belgian User Support and Operations Centre (B.USOC) has been supporting space missions since 1992.

B.USOC is currently the operations centre responsible for Columbus external payloads and the Fluid Science Laboratory (FSL).

The experiments operated by B.USOC cover various space research domains such as fluid dynamics. The main tasks of B.USOC are to implement experiments, provide technical advice to scientists and give operational support during the experiments.

Until now, a variety of experiments have been operated by this centre in conjunction with User Home Bases located at universities or institutes.

Examples of experiments operated by this centre include the Atmosphere Space Interactions Monitor (ASIM), an external Columbus payload that monitors electric events at high altitudes, and the Foam Coarsening 2 experiment to observe foam production.
