Update: removed sample tests and contact information.

ESA is giving the astronaut applicants who have passed the first hurdle an opportunity to test themselves before starting the next step in the selection process. In fact, everyone can have a go!

The application process is now closed, and the next phase in the European Astronaut Selection is now underway. The 700 to 1000 best applicants from the thousands who applied will now undergo psychotechnical tests.

These candidates can familiarise themselves with what they may encounter in the next stage of the selection process. Some of the cognitive tests they will face are freely available.

These sample practice tests are the best possible way to prepare for the psychology screening and familiarise applicants with what to expect.

The sample practice tests had to be taken offline for contractual reasons. If you are interested in learning more about the astronaut selection tests we recommend "The Astronaut Selection Test Book: Do You Have What it Takes for Space?" book written by ESA astronaut Tim Peake and the European Space Agency with Colin Stuart.
