Topological phases of matter meet Machine Learning

In this talk, I will give a very broad introduction to quantum physics, topology in condensed matter physics, and machine learning. I will then present some exciting new results in this field, ranging from the discovery of novel topological marker currents, to methods to measure topological invariants with the aid of an artificial neural network.
